mahomes is my next GOAT, but i'll revisit his career 15 years later. i've seen players drop off like a fly. mahomes is a unicorn. i feel like chiefs will win 2-3 SBs in next 5 years., but let's see what he can do after that. with his crazy talent and weapon, mahomes can do whatever he wants on the field. but he still improvises alot and does crazy brett favre shyt which leads me to believe he is closer to aron rodgers than brady. and if that's the case we are looking at bunch of mvps, but few SBs. let's see if he can really do it when it matters the most over and over and over again.
rodgers is a great talent and many of you nikkas crowned him to be the new GOAT. but he'll never be better than brady because his limitation in presnap and ability to adjust. there is a reason why rodgers don't have many comeback wins. and he is afraid to make a mistake. s ask any packers fans they wishes that rodgers have some favre in him. there is a reason why he always leads in TD/INT ratio. it's because sometimes he just can't let it fly. i'll never forget that seattle loss in the playoffs.
you don't see that from brady. Brady is a warrior. he would do whatever it takes. you don't see that from rodgers much. improvisation works when you have great weapons and time to throw the ball. and talent can overcome alot of things. but come playoff times, you gotta play against tough defenses. QB has to make adjustments and understand what's he's doing wrong. look at brady yesterday. made all the adjustments and basically told arians that this is my team, my offense. and boom 320yards in the 2nd half and he is 43. i haven't seen that from mahomes. haven't seen that from rodgers his career.
manning is at brady's level in terms of understanding the D and knowing how to dissect, but he's a victim of his own genius. sometimes he controls too much of the offense and it comes to bite his ass too many times in the playoffs.
watch the game and try to understand the greatness breh. boring QB play is actually what makes him the GOAT. like i said, simple always wins. take the easiest play available to you. you can do that because you already know what you are doing before the snap. prime brady will just wear down the defense by his methodical 'boring' approach. you look at nikkas huffin and puffin in the 4th qtr when they play the pats. look at the falcons in the SB. a key difference between manning and brady is that manning often times scored too fast. indy over the years lost alot of possession battle. brady won them.
and brady basically exposed all the system QB argument.
as soon as he leaves Bills lookin like it's 90s and they are a superbowl threat. as soon as he leaves dolphins lookin like they are righting the ship. pats missed the playoffs twice in the past 18 years both when they didn't have Brady.
