MJ can't be the GOAT if the criteria is rings/winning/clutch. That would be Russell.

MJ can't be the GOAT if the criteria is stats. That would be Bron.

MJ can't be the GOAT if the criteria is longevity. That would be Bron and Cap.
It is really strange how they gloss over this

MJs record is PPG. That’s essentially it
I think most people would say there isn’t one single criterion, it’s more about how all the different criteria fit together. MJ’s broad array of individual and team accomplishments is hard to argue against

It's funny that random people on a forum who can barely dribble a ball feel like their criteria for what it means to a great athlete is more credible than the criteria of the greatest athletes lol. Kobe and MJ are better because the best athletes say so. Simple. But because these guys have been brainwashed and indoctrinated with so much LeBron propaganda for 25 years, their minds won't let them digest it. Sad.

Your opinion is yours.
Tom Brady has his.

That’s perfectly fine.

But this idea that athletes have this heavier value that outweighs the opinions of non-athletes has always been stupid.

For one thing, history has shown that great athletes often are extremely poor judges of talent and skill. And for another, it’s not like all athletes agree on greatness anyway. Tom Brady might rank 4 athletes and Lawrence Taylor might rank 4 completely different ones. Then what? If athletes are the gatekeepers of ranking talent, you’re at an impasse.

So maybe let’s all just stop going through these bullshyt hoops and recognize the one truth here:

Tom Brady is entitled to his opinion. But that’s all it is.

Probably one of the silliest Stan logics on the board

“He tried to be Jordan 2.0, and even though he failed that’s why he’s revered more than Jordan”

You have terrible reading comprehension.

He said top athletes respect Kobe because he was the closest to MJ. It makes sense Brady would respect Kobe over Bron. Kobe wanted to beat everybody and he did for the most part. LeBron teamed up with people. Lastly, SMH at saying Kobe failed but you think a guy with less rings who team hopped three times succeeded :dead:

Imagine disregarding the credibility of people who ACTUALLY competed against these guys. Their opinions are the only that matter to be honest. Get of your high horse brodie, you're an armchair critic, a mere spectator--just like the rest of us. So yes, their opinions have heavier value than your's, anonymous guy behind a keyboard.
