With as much failure Baker has had in his career it's insane he's talking reckless with this little success to begin the season. You would have thought he won a chip with that comment.
I mean the team did get better. Thry didnt go from the SB to last year. They went from went from sub .500 and getting smacked by Dallas to over .500 and smacking Philly. People thought the Bucs and Baker were done. They got room to talk some shyt.

That said, I dont think he was shytting on Brady. I feel like he was lowkey saying what I said...the team played freer without the expectations and pressure.

That's a good clap back from Brady.

Still, I refuse to believe in this narrative that you need to be a dikkhead and create a stressful and super serious environment to get everyone to focus and win.

I spent 20 years watching the Spurs and Tim Duncan exude excellence without all that crap, so nobody is going to tell me Tom Brady or Kobe Bryant or Michael Jordan's method was the only way.

:hubie:

I dont recall hearing stories of Popavich doing the dougie with Spurs players:mjlol:

Tim Duncan literally did not speak to Tony Parker when he was a rookie.
