No offense (anybody starting shyt off with that is usually on bs lol, I promise tho) all that shows is that your priorities are different. And that's fine, nothing wrong with stopping when you said (guessing you're talking mid 30s?) with all the money, etc. But there's also nothing wrong with taking advantage of very clear advantages people would give everything to sign up for as long as you can. Your time as a top athlete is shallow compared to the rest of your life, if you can win into your 40s then why shouldn't you?
Also, not saying you're not a success in what you do day to day, but you're saying what RhodyRum would do if he were them. What if Rhody was them and had all you just wrote and it's just as common as breathing? Well, there's only 2 things that can happen. Either become complacent and waste potential or keep pushing further and further to where you and Brady's window view might not be the same, but you've got similar scars just from being in the game too. It's hard to say what we'd do, we'd be mostly a different person from different perspective etc. It's just how it goes and it's not all money.
I'll never knock somebody for doing what they think is best with what got them where they are, as long as it's for the right reasons. shyt like Adrian Peterson and athletes going broke having to lace em up when it's clear past time to hang it up, that's pathetic and looks a certain way. Brady went out still competitive although the arm was looking wonky the last season, but he just won with it the one before. Went into a field people said he has no business in and came out the GOAT. No financial issues, no public scandals he'd tried to use football to run away from (unless you consider divorce one....lol). fukk it, do what you want, as long as it's for the right reason.
