I like Brady but fukk his acting and crocodile tears.

He has 1 b*stard son before he got with Giselle and then left his family to pursue another year or 2 of football.

He had his choice to retire years before he did and go home and be a family man, and he decided to basically have twice the career of all the great QBs who came before him. He of all people knew how much family gets sacrificed in order to excel at being a professional athlete. And I don't care about whatever marital issues he had with Bundchen, HE STILL MADE HIS DECISION TO FOCUS ON BALL MORE THAN HIS KIDS AS A GROWN ASS MAN.

Whatever regret is in his voice comes straight from a lack of thinking past his nose. After 30 years old, unless you were forced to make a decision, you live with them as a man and have zero regrets. Your 20s is supposed to make you a better man or woman by your 30s so you can make the best decisions possible for your life moving forward.

This is the problem with putting people on pedestals. They let the adulation and reverence get to their head and think they can BS the general public because they know the idiots that worship them will give them a pass at worst, or find their stupidity as profound at best.

One last thing, if not being a great dad to his kids hurts him so much, then he should never take another pic with all of his SB rings while cheesin from ear to ear, since the price he paid for those rings was his role as a dad. You can't have it both ways with certain things in life.

Take away the OD thread title and memes and he's not wrong. Plenty of ultra successful people don't have kids or spouses, some do and that's fine, the shyt isn't one size fits all.

There's a absurd level of selfishness required if you're going to be the GOAT of anything and those with kids have no choice but to sacrifice time with family if they want to see it. Any top athlete, especially a Bron, by default has to put work above kids at times. That's what he's calling torment.

It's just the way it is or you can be less than on the field to be a little bit happier off it, some have chosen that too. Nothing wrong with either one and Brady's choice. bytches & AB's come and go, Brady's going to the grave with 7 of them bytches

You're ABSOLUTELY right in this post, however...

They make enough money now that they don't have to hang on until their late late 30s to early 40s. Shiiiit, pro athletes (at least the very good ones) have been making money like that for at least the last 15 years now.

That's my problem with all the regrets and theatrics. He could have bowed out after beating Seattle in February 2015 with generational wealth, his GOAT legacy intact, myriad records, and first ballot shoo-in at that point. Anything after that isn't a sacrifice, it's just pleasing ones ego at the expense of his family and home life.

You can't be a tyrant on one hand then turn around and go "Woe is me for the results of my tyrannical ways" with the other.
