Nah Jackie still has the lead. there was this one stunt he did where he slid down some windows of a skyscraper. I think he ended up breaking an ankle and some ribs. just looking at the stunt made me sweat.

But I will give Tom second. This and the airplane stunt are not easy to do and pretty crazy.


edit: btw when is that new top gun coming out? it was supposed to be dec now rumors are they are pushing it to 2021.

I feel like Cruise’s stunts are less directly physically demanding compared to Jackie’s. Jackie had the tendency to do stunts that were designed to look like they hurt. Cruise just does stunts that look good on camera. Both take a lot of guts but I think Chan’s stunts were more directly unsafe when compared to Cruise’s.

one of my friends ended up being a cameraman for all those a jack Reacher movies so he’s seen some of that stunt work close up. He says Tom is crazy legit, lmao...

I respect Cruise a lot for it though. If I had money and was an actor, I’d be doing my own stunts and have a crew if I could. Especially if action flicks was my genre, I’d have a team to help train and do my stunts
