This isn't new.
Last year (or the year before) they changed it to where you can only have 2 ps3s activated at a time meaning anything you bought with your account is limited to those 2 ps3s. It used to be 5. So anything you download from the ps store with your account can't be played on another account. Same shyt with the vita.
All digital download are tied to your account (duh!)
I was gonna cop mlb 13 via the store, but I wanted the disc so I could recoup later this year if I needed to sell it.

This isonline DRM idiot this is NEW, no other PSN title you own you have to be ONLINE and is not allowed to share the game within 24 hours. In fact i just bought a few psn titles the other day that i can share between 2 People and play OFFLINE

and if u want to use it on a different PS3 (let a friend hold it, or u bought it off someone used) you'd have to wait 24 hours before u can play it again
It's like this on the Vita. Again, it's not new. Any game I bought for my vita via the psn store, I have to be on PSN to play it.

There are other games that have had this as well. This is on Square Enix. Even Crapcom and Activision haven't sunk this low. Square wants more digital sales, so if you share it, it's a lost sale. That's why they are doing it.
EA started the 10 dollar online pass for their games to PLAY ONLINE, same with Sony for their first party games for their online servers. You don't have to pay the pass to play single player or offline.
And the online pass does exist on Xbox, so

Sonys anti-consumer... pro publisher policy's need to be put to bed friend, not only are they forcing you to play online....this title now becomes useless when PSN is shutdown for good

Not only can you not game share every 24 hours, your account cant even play this game on another system either. what if a winter storm came through and destroyed my Internet connection(does happen) I wouldn't even be able to play any games cause of this. we must eliminate sony and their anti-consumer driven policys now before its too late
