Tommy Tuberville: "I voted against him because I heard some things he talked about, about race and things that he wanted to mix into the military."

The GOP began to eat itself because nobody within the party would publicly call out this type of fukkery because the party prioritized solidarity over anything.

the same GOP that prioritized military readiness over anything, is the same GOP that's letting Tuberville ride with this.... all cause party solidarity.

Because it doesn't hurt them, if anything it just energizes their base when a Republican politician says something racist.

They learned that from Trump and took it to heart.

"Our military is not an equal opportunity employer"

There's no possible way to spin that as not racist.

People really do forget that the military will take someone who has had every opportunity to benefit in life on the same level as someone who grew up with nothing the minute they hit MEPS.

This aint even that sophisticated dog whistle racism, it's low hanging jim crow racism that he was raised with in response to the civil rights movement.

funny thing is they dont really care about military readiness either. They only care about the idea of US Military Might as the arm of White Supremacy. The execution of that idea would mean healthy, intelligent, and dedicated young people (of all races and genders) joining up to fight. Investing in the populace to that degree is anathema to Conservative Republican values.

Liz Cheney and them finally had enough but the levels of degeneracy/fukkery that had to take place for them to even publicly make a statement about MTG and Santos is highly telling whats coming for the party.

either they're gonna split into two sects, or the they're gonna full on be the party of oppression and to restore whatever they see as the American Third Reich.

Imagine letting this cretin walk into your living room and recruit your child for football

The Black parents that sent their kids to play for this racist hold a L

It's crazy, all those 5 star recruits are the reason he even had the name recognition to run for Senate. I'm sure that's never crossed his mind either

Bogus. Let’s not blame black parents for wanting to do the best for their children, while supporting their dreams. Many of those parents were poor and marginalized.

Besides. This information about Tuberville’s personal views weren’t available to them. The Republican Party attitudes towards black folks is very much available to the Tariq Nasheed, both sides, worshippers and yet they’ll still support hardcore racists like Tuberville having powers and control over black lives instead of a Hakeem Jeffries.

So who are real the ignorant parties here?
