Awesome… that’s not the norm though and there’s nothing wrong with it.Made lima beans with hamhocks the other night and used fresh thyme, taragon and parsley. Had even the cacs at my dinner affair begging for leftovers.
If I’m making braised short ribs or a quality steak I use fresh ingredients too.
If I’m making a quick spaghetti meal and I need to season the beef, I’m probably just using seasoned salt. I might toss in some fresh onions if I feel like it, but maybe not.
