We weren't ready yet, I remember I was shocked we got as far as we did that year.

The Bears beating us was more about their defense than anything Rex Grossman done.
Rex played extremely well. It was not all defense.

I'm just saying people clown the Colts for beating Rex Grossman but don't take into consideration that the Bears had the best record in the NFC

Exactly. Rex was playing fine heading into that Supeebowl. That Colts D with Bob Sanders back, was on a mission.

He needed to be scaled back like he was in Denver on that sb vs Car. Imagine Prime Peyton with a real offensive coach

Peyton was a shell of his former self in that Super Bowl. His arm was DONE. No way any reasonable coach would manage 2006 Peyton like 2015 Peyton.

Why?? Hes the 5 time MVP. Why should he have to be rescued from himself?? And throwing 3 tds vs 7.ints isnt being scaled back, he was bailed out for being awful. He had Tom Moore for most of his prime. Manning was supposedly smarter than everyone yet he shouldve threw 5 picks against Baltimore. Kept rolling protection away from Joey Porter allowing him to come off the edge free on several crucial plays.
