i respect him..(ive been to 7 clipps games this year/ including a spurs@clipps game

he might not be the best "pg" but hes the best player playing PG..

you trust him more than a westbrook/rose/irving(more athletic explosive pg's)

hes more of a pure scorer than cp3.. hes the perfect medium between the 2

Tony just destroyed the so-called best PG in the NBA and the general 3rd choice for league MVP last night and yet muthafukkas still want to be like bytches and dont want to give Parker his props :stopitslime:

nikkas really said that Kyrie Irving is better than Tony Parker :russ:

LeBron is the best player in the league hands down no contest, but to act like Tony Parker isnt a top 3 MVP canidate at best (top 5 at worst) is just plain hating or lack of knowledge on Tony Parker's season.

It's a shame where being the best player on the team with the league's best record dont mean a damn thing anymore. Dude is averaging 27.9 ppg and 9.1 assists on 57 percent shooting during this month, are those not MVP caliber numbers?

imma laker fan.. but a fan of Basketball 1st. why is this man still so underrated??

its crazy.

i respect everything about the spurs organization.. npthing but class from the players to the coaches to the fans(knowledgeable)

Totally agree w this ... spurs have been nothing short of great the last 14 years and an honor to compete against...

As far as the mvp talk going by previous criteria parker should be in the lead... major injuries and still dominating the league with him at point as the leader is crazy... they might fukk around and win it all.

Give it to KD tho, voter fatigue :manny:

The 1st 2 games the spurs played the clippers this year Paul outplayed parker and the clippers won both games.Parker had 4 points in the 1st matchup and they lost by 22.

Parker is 2nd behind lebron now for mvp

Lebron is still the MVP , but Parker is gaining momentum. If they clearly have the best record in the end, it wouldn't surprise me if he wins it.

These idiots want to pretend that Duncan didn't win two MVPs in San Antonio.
shaq shoulda had 2-3 mvps tbh but the voters said he was too good and always took him out of equation
Not true. Shaq missed too many games and he was playing with another top 3 player.

So one month = season now?

What about the other games where Chris Paul sent Tony Parker home looking like a bytch?

He's been excellent this whole season he's just really hitting his stride this month. You talk about other games, shyt what about the other PLAYOFF SERIES where Tony sent Chris Paul home early.

What happened to Chris Paul yesterday?
Ginobili is on and off
Duncan is Duncan but he's up there in age and doesn't play as well
I think Parker has the chance to be MVP if he continues this path

So I don't have to go back and forth with dudes that clearly only watch nationally televised games I'll just say this

by almost every measurable stat Lebron is having a better season than Tony

Lebron 27,8,7,2 PER 31.6 21.0 EWA(estimated wins added) 28.0 Usage 38.4 mins

Parker 21,3,8,1 PER 24.72 12.2 EWA 27.1 Usage 32.8 minutes per game

Lebron not only scores, rebounds, steals, and plays more minutes than Parker. He leads his team in all those catagories. Tony only leads his team in scoring and assists.
Lebron shoots at a better percentage 57% to 54% and shoots 3's at a higher percent also 41 to 38

Lebron plays more minutes a game while defending multiple positions and being the primary play maker on his team.

The fact is Lebron does more for his team than any other player in the league.

Pop will sit Parker and play him less than 30 mins, Spoelstra will never do that with Lebron unless it's the end of the season.

Lebron is the best player in the league AND the Most Valuable. and it is NOT close.

:russ: So what are u saying Breh? I agreed with you about Bron being MVP but to say that SA would win more games with TP out than the Heat would win w/o bron is crazy. Because Lebron does more for his team doesnt neceassarily translate as him being the end all be all for that team. If Bron out im sure they could work it out with Wade and Bosh
