It’s shaping up to be pretty bleak for most Americans. And that’s even when you do everything right, like save.

Every time I read a news article with predictions about the future it’s almost always depressing. I’m starting to see what @Wild self is predicting about an upcoming revolt.

This economy is made only for the wealthy, and the wealthy stopped having kids because they love the gentrified cities thats anti-family in terms of activities and structure.

A lot of Americans go into unnecessary debt. What are the spending habits of those that aren't retiring? Did they go into unnecessary debt? Did they buy a house too big? Are they steadily upgrading to a new car?

I'm about to start on my bachelor's this year, if not Spring 2021. Graduate asap and stack money with my new job. Will keep debt to a minimum

The hard part is balancing fun, buying what you want + planning retirement. The stock market is probably the only way you can make big gains in a short time frame
