Pac had also gotten into that mess with former friends he lived around in Marin City, which resulted in a little kid being killed by a stray bullet from a gun registered to Pac (his brother Mopreme probably fired the gun)

Shootouts in Atlanta with off duty cops…the Quad Studios attack…by most accounts he seemed pretty reckless
He was beyond reckless. You should read the biography written by Staci Robinson. And before any of you claim she's a "hater", she knew 2pac personally and his family when he was alive. Her book wasn't to show him in a negative light, but to research of his life involving many others that knew him and incidents. Reading that shyt, I was shocked he made it to the age of 25 years old. Incidents like beating up the soundman at shows, the PE incident when someone stole Chuck D's jacket, the Milwaukee concert incident involving Scarface and others... That dude had no chill whatsoever. He'd made a small situation into a riot just because he wanted to. We all have had a 2pac in our group of friends. That guy you go out with and have that talk with him beforehand saying, "listen, we're out of town tonight. If someone looks at you, don't start any shyt just because the man is looking at you because we're outnumbered 10-1.." That doesn't make you soft, it makes you mature to avoid trouble. Now if trouble comes your way, you defend yourself. He had every right to defend himself in the Quad shooting. But the pulling up at the Soul Train awards and Sam Sneed jumping shyt was unnecessary.

So Cal
not meat riding pac but all these dudes have some "elder" game to say all the time

nobody was with Pac in ATL etc
and nobody besides maybe Ice Cube was as famous as 2pac at a point

fame fukks up alot of shyt when you got the top spot in entertainment and even then Cube got fukked up left and right and look at how it changed him in this era

short never was huge in a pop sense, he never had shyt to worry about
pac is an icon and stuck in the mainstream...its not comparable

if you dont know why 2pac was a target, then you dont understand why Jordan, Kobe, Lebron are targets. Its more profitable to get you out the way for everyone else or to latch on and gain fame through your reaction. Id go even further and even say Biggie avoided it, but Diddy latched on and fukked with Pac because he knew it would draw more $$$ and he could blame Pac and Big for it.
:dahell: Too Short already had 7 platinum albums when pac died.

The suburbs
Pac was very naive about the streets. Short saw how real gangsters would take advantage of that naïveté and he didn’t want to facilitate that shyt.
Can yall stop with this whole “pac was naive to the streets” shyt?

10s of thousands of “street niccas” get killed every year and even more get shot or arrested

Were they naive too?

Orlando Anderson himself is dead. Was he naive ?

Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
There's wisdom because the Bay and Oakland in particular is a whole 'nother world from what you usually associate Cali with.

Oakland has much more in common with a city like Detroit than LA...hustling, pimping and cutthroat ass niccas.
Yeah, I've never been to the Bay, but I've met a few folks from the Bay. I've been to Los Angeles and also know some folks from the LA area and their personalities and demeanor is MUCH different.

He should have paid attention to his elders. Instead he got himself himself shot in NYC and killed in LA because he didn’t understand the streets. He also got Big killed.

Word. Biggie parading around LA for weeks only mere months after PAC’s death then sneak dissing him in the radio freestyle with Sway played no part in it whatsoever. He was an innocent angel in it all.

Pac knew who shot him. Why didn’t he step to Jimmy Henchman and Haitian Jack?

This also shows Pacs naïveté. He expected Big to go against career criminals and Brooklyn for some reckless out of town rapper he just met. Pac never understood the streets and it led to his death.
