Mines got here on wednesday. and the case came at the same time from amazon from the UPS man!

I been lovin it!!! :ahh:

fukking SSD drives make load up and disk transfer times fast as shyt.

the remote desktop app means I can run my work computer on a seperate desktop and simply swipe between work and personal shyt with ease :ohlawd:

phone/ipad/macbook all synced up with contacts. bought office 2011 through my job for $10

and FINALLY the remote app for itunes on my phone works again. that shyt hadn't worked in years on windows. but it worked immediately on this macbook. I can't see myself going back to a windows machine as my personal computer :camby:

:patrice: Have you tried a Surface Laptop? I wonder since Microsoft makes the Surface, if that means it will perform much better than Windows Laptops from other OEMs?

@Hiphoplives4eva

not really interested. I already have an ipad and iphone before this, and I do not really enjoy windows 8/8.1 which alone turns me off of a surface tablet.

I did the exact same thing. Got a refurb off the Apple site. I wanted a travel laptop that was small so I went with a Mac Air 13". My boss has me doing cell phone apps now, so I figured I'd get a Mac for both needs. That damned thing is super thin and will run all day off the battery. I'd never go all Mac, but first cell phone I didn't want to replace in 2 years is my iPhone5. Finished my degree taking notes on a iPad 3. I respect the hell out of Apple after I started using their stuff.

have u ever bought an apple refurbished product? the shyt is basically new. like a refurbished machine for apple could be something that was shipped out and immediately returned. I mean, there won't even be a speck of dust on it. you wouldn't even know it was a refurb unless someone told you. plus, you get the exact same warranty and can get apple care the same way you can do a new product.

People hear the word "refurb" and immediately assume the worst, but I always tell people looking to buy a Mac to take a look at the refurbs first. Apple refurbs are basically like getting a new machine. Same warranty, same chance to get Applecare, etc.

The only difference is it comes in a plain white box instead of the initial retail packaging.
