This list should be where the average black person is doing well not where a few rich black people live.

Trash juice list.
Agree...

People are going to pick the places that have the best "culture" (for rich Negroes to flex among other rich Negroes) but what should matter most is......

where can a regular Jamal buy a home, send his kids to good schools and find gainful employment while also having access to nice amenities (museums, zoos, variety of dining etc)?

Those cities will NOT always be what folks expect.

Austin and San Antonio not only above Houston but no Dallas. Very hard to believe.
Black people just hate on Dallas if they're from out of state.

The reasons "why" is usually shyt that happens in every other city. Dallas and Houston have almost identical demographics but people are convinced that things are just worse in Dallas for no particular reason.

Think it's mostly marketing. Dallas has never been seen as a "cool" city for Black people, Black nightlife etc., and that's probably legit criticism. For working, living etc , it's fine. Just not a destination spot for getting turnt up.

DC, Miami, Baltimore, Richmond?

this list looks ridiculous if you dont understand context of the suburbs in these areas:mjlol:

It looks like the list is defined by cities with somewhat smaller black populations and sports teams, and tech boom cities

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.

This list is several years old I think and very inaccurate.

Idk a single Miami person that believes this. Actually I have several Miami friends up here who left Miami for that very reason.

Actually Fort Lauderdale is probably more friendly to black economics than Miami
