Today in 2K I be hitting random button for teams, or "wanna play classic team vs classic team?"
I remember picking that throwback Kings team and Webber wasn't even on the roster. Went from :obama: to :mindblown: in seconds

Yeah, that had me :what: Why Webber?....he was okay with it in 2K12 til 2K13, he wants more $$$. :snoop:

+10 Rep in exchange for my soul back :noah:

Maybe I'm remembering his turnovers and broken plays based off of how bad they looked :ld:?

ain't no thing mayne.

I think Williams always took a lot of heat from older fans of the game (and older white folk in the sports media) because of his style of play. basically any time he turned the ball over trying to do something fancy they would shine the spotlight on it even though he protected the ball very well 95% of the time.

Williams could make one or two mistakes during a game and some people would be like "that son of a bytch is way too cocky and needs to calm down", but then someone like Isiah or Stockton could turn the ball over four times in a game and those same people would be like "well they can't carry the team by themselves!!!".

If you didnt start watching the NBA until he was in Miami, you'd NEVER know what kinda young player he was.

Kinda like Rafer Alston on the Magic

That's my former Gator :to:

I remember some dude from the Alligator (unofficial newspaper for UF) went to interview Jason Williams when the Heat won the NBA Finals in 2006. He asked J-Will what was the thing he cherished most about college. J-Will said something like "I cherished getting kicked out school. I became a millionaire." :heh:

Without him, aint NO telling where Billy D & Gator bball would be :banderas:

Rafer was never that flashy on the Magic. You mean Rafer on the And1 mixtapes.

No. I'm saying by the time Rafer was at that point in his career you never woulda known he is a street ball legend.
I see what you're saying. Perfect comparison.

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but Jason Williams got a standing O on a missed layup; it was a ridiculous move. I can't find it on Youtube. If anyone knows what I'm talking about and finds it, dap +rep is yours.

Very influential in bringing fun back to the NBA. People wasn't feeling that '99 Lockout, he helped ease the pain for a couple years.
