cant make a list like this and leave off Treach and Grand Puba.

Ja Rule was technically brilliant.

Cormega makes good songs but technically he is horrible for a so-called lyricist.....its like he dont even hear himself rappin...or the beat for that matter.

I thought of Grand Puba, was gonna add him to the in contention. Treach I mentioned as in contention. Rule was good, not sure he'd crack a top 20 though. I disagree about Mega, I think Mega is fantastic technically.

shyt I hope ya'll nikkas know to lay low now
Cause thou shall perish if you don't bow down
Cause I hit em on sight, its dark dim the lights
You shot twice god bless to this the night
That alot of nikkas fear the coming of their life
And you dead right be in hell looking for ice
fukkin with Ja you bytch nikkas talking shyt
All on my dikk you broke nikkas making me rich
You gonna blaze me cause you high ripped off the henne rock
Flow semi-hot handling me your not
Check my forte not even on a bad day you beat this
Rather beat your dikk or your bytch
My flow be the sick shyt, gravely ill
nikkas dying cause they know I spit like iron, nothing but bark flyin
Flows and mics,
hell and night, go together like heaven and light
nikkas ain't seein my plight, It's alright
I let the world know I shine like ice
I bet it all I can throw a hard four in the dice
Cause I'm a gambling man, you should gamble with a gat in your hand
Spin in barrel and put it to your head
Cause we don't dance no more all we do is cock and spit
Dedicated to giving you nothing but thug shyt
Think we playing, you undoubtable fall further
fukkin with I N C is Murda

when I think of technique..I think flawless when being able to adjust their delivery to match up with any beat. Fab stands out on this list like Lloyd Banks and some other "punchline" rappers. they sound stiff on certain beats. their flows dont change to match the beat and sometimes it doesnt sound good. on some songs you hear them on they sound technically perfect...others they dont seem to be able to control the beat, rather the beat controls them. Pusha is another one who would fall into this category.
you mentioned Twista...he is technically flawless...he controls ever beat he gets on. Big Pun also seemed somewhat bottlenecked when not riding up-tempo joints. Its like he only had one gear.
