Yeah it's blowing my mind how people can't tell the difference between playing the bucks...then the knicks...then the suns...then OKC...and playing OKC at least 4 times in a row...:dahellwhat:
2 elite scorers and an elite defensive big man...plus elite size at the center position in Perkins and Adams who might not give you much on offense but won't be pushovers in the paint...
And Memphis...good lord...these dudes got an elite big...a still really good big...an elite perimeter defender...good spot up shooting...underrated pg who has been at least top 10 as far as pg go for going on 3 years now...and then to top it all off...they somehow get rid of the one deadweight player holding them back...the corpse of Tayshaun Prince...and get Jeff Green...a 6 "8" forward who can light it up and carry an offense in spurts...which is EXACTLY what they fukking need...
I can't believe more people are not talking about that Jeff Green trade...they somehow managed to pull off the holly grail of sports trade...get rid of a player that you don't need for a player that you absolutely need...and all you have to give up is a lesser version of the player you traded for (pondexter) a 2nd round pick and a protected 1st round pick...
Borderline robbery and I can only assume the celtics, clippers, and pelicans were just asleep at the wheel when the deal went down...
