How is he supposed to make bums better?

BTW Adams is averaging a career high in points this year

Even when he didnt have bums he still didnt make his team better. Durant having a better season with more superstars on the team then when it was just him and Russ. Oladipo looks like a bum cuz he playing with Russ too. Adams is a great player on his own right and has been learning to be a better scorer with or without Westbrook

Bro, if you watch the games and not the stat sheet you can clearly see him stat pad. The ball stops with him most of the time and he will erratically pass the ball if he cant get his shot off. Also, hes a turnover machine.

He's still an amazing player that I would take any day over the week but that dude ain't no real point guard.
Westbrook is the only playmaker on that team. How are you supposed to have good ball movement with Robertson/Dipo/Sabonis. You're buying into a dumb narrative.

I know exactly what you mean.

I call it "bail out" assist.

I witness Brandon Knight & Eric Bledsoe do it on a nightly basis.

They don't look for the hot hand/know how to pass shooters into position/put teammates at a disadvantage against the shot clock

It's like "Oh shyt, I can't score.....erratic pass"

Westbrook just 110% free reign with his

Well that is also part of the coaching staffs fault. Also the guys you mentioned arent bums at all. Can you name 3 guys on the Celtics not named IT or Horford that are really better than the guys on Thunder?

It comes down to how your point guard plays and the schemes they are being coached. Russ needs to be surrounded by shooters in order to be effective with his style of play, otherwise they need to employ a different offensive system.

I actually think Dipo is a better player than Crowder, cept Crowder play better defense. I'll give you Bradley though. And neither of those guys are play creators in the least bit. Dipo can get his own shot.

They are awful but Harden isn't :gucci:
The D'Antoni system gets to hide Harden's flaws (ball dominant, terrible defense) and he's actually making guys like Gordon, Brewer, Anderson better. Plus they have the 4th best record in the league. He's doing what Westbrook is doing but better.

I agree for the most part. However Avery Bradley is a much better off the ball player with good defense unlike Diop who's been a huge disappointment as a 3rd pick overall. Jae Crowder is much better than Robertson. He's shooting 41% from 3 on 5 attempts. The celtics are filled with shooters and great defenders at the wing position. OKC definitely has the better bigs but when you combine that with the horrible shooting from the wings that greatly deminishes Westbrook incredible driving ability and uptempo style. WestBrook would do much better on a team like the Celtics in my opinion. The high turnovers are a result of his high risk mentality of always pushing the ball and also the paint is clogged due to non shooters around him. He's in a tough position but he's doing pretty well.
