@ Pop artists being "real" musicians, you telling me Justin Bieber & Katy Perry as real musicians. Country doesn't really appeal to most computer savvy generation either. the Hip Hop sales bubble popped a long time ago, just like rock sales went down during Hip Hop's hey day but guess what? they didn't cry about rock being dead and all that bullshyt, a lot of bands kept making great music and up coming bands started new styles and trends and now they're back up in the sales.

The thing is... it takes absolutely no knowledge or skill in music theory at all to become a rapper... people think just because artists like Justin Bieber put out commercial poppy music that they are trash when in fact a lot of pop artists are talented as hell...

Of course not. No notable releases came out in the last weeks. Earlier there was the big Cole, Kanye, and Jay albums plus Wale did good. Drake will crush the charts next month too.

I will say that I don't remember a summer that was driven less by rap though, despite the big albums I named. The biggest tracks of this summer have been Blurred Lines and Get Lucky, by a mile.

Yes... moreso known as tuning (not necessarily in A key) your kick drum... not like an 808... but even kick drums have to be tuned to the key of the song...
