Is the show really that good?
Be careful tho because Netflix mislabeled Season 3. When you play season 3 episode 1 it's labeled as S1E1 which is incorrect.
Is there a dude in a wheelchair in the first episode or two? He got arrested? Is it set in like the Caribbean?
How does that happen?

Thats the exact thing im talking about. THat scene happens in season 3 when he went into hiding in Jamaica. That is NOT season 1. All the scenes in Jamaica are all in season 3. Only mention of Jamaica in season one is when Dris was telling someone that his girlfriend went to Jamaica to take care of her father.
they didn’t mislabel it...the original series is now titled “top boy: summer house” and this continuation is now just referred to as “top boy” and this is the first season even tho others (myself included) still refer to it as S3

I gotta keep it real...I didn’t watch the trailer...I was skeptical of them bringing it back after so many years and I wasn’t excited about drake being linked to it...even when it dropped I was still hesitant to watch it cuz a lot of netflix shows have taken a dip in quality as of late...shyt ended up being a great watch tho

What's with the Drake hate? Not that im a fan but just wondering. And he didnt appear anywhere in the show. From what I understand he simply invested in the production. Are you cats' hate for dude that deep?
I mean... You might have to fill me in. I stopped litening to hiphop in like...2010-ish or something so i dont keep up with all the drama. The genre is too dramatic and everyone feels the need to take sides over...music

I don’t overuse words like “hate” or “dikkrider”...my vocabulary is a little bit more expansive than that...bcuz drake primarily makes music and has had no foray into television as far as I’m aware of other than “degrassi high” I was concerned about how much input he’d have on the show and whether or not he’d be all hands on like 50 (not good) or if he’d step back and let those who know what they’re doing do their thing and fortunately he did the latter and the season turned out great..no “hate” here...I’m not 12
The other thing about the season.
Jamie was not as tough a guy as he try to act like. When he was dealing with Dushane he acted tough and honestly he was tough indeed. He seemed confident ,smart, ruthless yet methodical. Especially how he did the Turks.
But I was really disappointed by how he crawled back into his shell when Modi came out. At that point he was in a position of power. The crew was making money and they were all behind him. He had the leverage to take out Modi and I doubt anybody would have retaliated since he was providing the goods.
Modi was just your typical loudmouth arrogant dude. He didn't strike me as a smart Mastermind. Jamie could have outsmarted him and taking them out easily. The one I would have been worried about if I was Jamie was actually Jermaine (Sully's cousin who Sully had kidnapped and who broke Modi out of jail). He's got a vicious crew working for him but they don't work for Modi. They only answer to him. Plus he has that cousin of his who solid did not want no part of from season 2 when he kidnapped Jermaine.
