This is my current department right now. One analyst was on the team for 3yrs before they moved him to Sr. Analyst. Sure, there’s a lot of knowledge needed to move up, but if you want to make moves elsewhere, that looks like a red flag. Most analysts are promoted in 18-24 months.

I’m at 18 months in this role and I’m looking to pivot. Things are getting a bit rocky at the moment and Idk if this place is the best deployment of my talents (there is some room for improvement on my part though).

If they don't promote an Analyst within two years, help them find another LOB. You're not doing them any service.

I used to be in the DMV, but I’m in Cali now. If you’re netting 5K a month in take home that would do you way better in the DMV, especially out in PG.

Idk about the IE but the Latinas I’ve seen in the Bay ain’t it at all (honestly, most of the women I've seen). Women looked way better out in the DMV. You should have been eating well out in the DMV, unless what you make now isn’t what you made out in the DMV.

Like I said breh DMV is not the Inland Empire in terms of competition. You got six figure brehs and you IT cats in your 30s ruining shyt. The average male here is 5’7 which makes my 6 ft stick out a lot more compared to the DMV. Not to mention these manual labor jobs pay way more than I was getting for them in DC currently at $19/hr at amazon which is pretty good to me.

Not to mention one of the warehouses I was looking into offers benefits to pay for any bachelors degree completely as long as you work with them.

Marriage is legit the best way for people to rise their household income, as long as both parties are working.

Median income in America is only like 30k.​

Not everyone will get married though. This is why I am a fan of adult roommates. You can split expenses with others and bring them down considerably if you have enough space.

Getting like 32 dollars an hour....thought i could be one of those "if the money good nothing else matters". i hate everyday i show up at the office.

The turnover at my current company has been getting crazy. I suspect the main reason is salary (which is the main reason why I'm looking to leave my current company).

I'm waiting to hear back from a few companies I have interviewed for in the past three weeks.
