We got the gwap, for sure.

But I don't anyone wants to drop 1 billion on a sports team.

That aint the problem, u think 70k fans will show up every sunday for the games, and cn't get drunk in the parking lot cuz tailgating is against the law in Toronto? Toronto can't even sell out the ACC 20k for the raps, and cant even get 30-40k for the Jays who spent mad money this offseason.

Jags at least got an excuse, Florida NCAA football sells out, the gaters n seminoles, fukk dem HS games probably got more paying fans in the stands than Uni and College football/basketball and volleyball combined in Toronto.

This ain't no sports city, its just a Leafs city.

Of course Toronto would support an NFL team...they'd have no issue selling out every game and that's with high ass ticket prices. The fukking raptors are selling out that's all you need to know :heh:. shyt I bet half the people at Bills games are Canadian. I know lots of people around the GTA attending Bills games all the time.

The bills game in the skydome didnt even sell out the last gm. I work for Rogers, and they were giving away free tix and advertising the same day as the game that still had tix at the box office available. And even if the Dome sells out, its still under the nfl avg attendance limits.

Your not forced to purchase raptors tickets :beli:

You can't compare cis football and basketball to the ncaa

Canada doesn't even offer full ride sports scholarships.

Junior hockey draws more fans than some nhl teams in the USA.

Junior hockey is our ncaa football

Actually you are forced to buy. Only if your buying SEASON TIX for the Maple Leafs you must get season tix for the Raps. Also if you buy single seat tix for the leafs thru the leafs then you must buy tix for the marlies. That is official, I work for MLSE and Rogers.

The fact that you say CIS don't compare to NCAA further proves that Toronto ain't no sports city. In da US, highschool gms get madd luv n support. It aint about the caliber of the player, its about the luv of the game in the US. Here in Toronto every1 thinks they entitled to watchin stars only or sumthin. They dont show luv like how the Cubs get luv n stuff.

I always noticed that about Toronto. CIS football is huge in Quebec and the West. Laval University sometimes gets bigger crowds than CFL games.

alot of the football players in southern ON, if not going to the US on scholarships go to QC to play for laval. I know quite a few of my former team mates did. They just said they got some real experienced coaches there, more US scouts come and the atmosphere feels like football.

This is the best way to know, how big sports are in Toronto, where are the UofT stadiums and arenas for their teams? how big are they? lol, its a joke compared to quebec even, and most the states. Bowl gms gets more fans than CFL grey cup, blue jays marlies, tfc combined hahaha
