The masses of us regard hip-hop culture and things associated with it much more as a authentic way of life than we do some kind of actual universal code of conduct that every household inherently understands and strictly adheres to.
The color black is no more a race than the color yellow is when it is (or was) applied to Asians or Red was applied to native Americans. Cacs came up with those color code designations. All it does is lazily group people together based off of their outward skin pigment instead of things like where they're from and their lineage, culture, tribe, etc. We were supposed to inherit this knowledge and understanding from our forefathers but we were cut off it.
A Puerto Rican and an Arab aren't the same but if you go the color code system they pretty much are.
