Finished Warrior Dash yesterday. It's was straight. Shorter than I expected, but I didn't expect to be running up muddy hills or wading through chest high water (I'm 6'2"). :manny:
All in all, I liked it. Probably gonna do something called The Gladiator Rock N Run next. It's about 4 miles and 17 obstacles. :lolbron:

Gladiator Rock'n Run™

Dan Clark aka "Nitro" from the American Gladiators brings you the most insane one day event on the planet - The Gladiator Rock'n Run™.

The course challenges all participants to conquer extreme obstacles and harsh terrain, then to celebrate their conquests with a bad-ass post race party filled with music, beer and food.

It's more than a run. It's an experience!

Nah, that's the Tough Mudder. There weren't any really crazy obstacles on this one. There was a huge slip n slide that was great. It was just really...muddy. Last obstacle was a mud put under barbed wire.

Did warrior dash last year, had so much fun. They came through last week in Atlanta, but I was outta town. Was supposed to do the Zombie Race too but forgot about that joint.

Ill check out the spartan race though, hopefully I can catch that one.

if you dont mind can you list out all the obstacles for warrior dash breh?
I'll try and remember all the obstacles...they might be out of order, though.

1. LAKE CROSS. The water at its deepest was about chest high for me. That actually took me the longest because I got stuck helping somebody who couldn't swim.
2. BARBED WIRE/CARGO NET MUD CRAWL - Right when you got out of the lake, you had to crawl through mud under barbed wire. That wasn't too bad, and I was able to do it on my hands and knees. After that, they had a net that you had to crawl through, but you could stand up bent over and walk through that.
3. WALL JUMPS - Had to jump over 4 foot walls.
4. BARRICADES - You had to go over and under about 10 barricades
5. ROPE CLIMB - Had to climb up a wall using ropes (If anybody would've fallen off this.... )
6. TIRES pt I - Had to run up a hill that had tires on it. Object was to run on the tires and not in the holes of the tires. Many people failed at this.
7. SWIM - On this one, you had to jump into a 10 ft deep lake, then swim over to a stationary object in the lake, climb on it, then maneuver over obstacles on the object, get to the other side, jump back into the lake, and then swim to the shore. After that, you had to run up a muddy hill.
8. CARGO NET CLIMB - Had to climb up a cargo net to the top of a structure, then climb down a wood wall on the other side.
9. CARGO NET CRAWL - Had to climb up this 3 foot structure, and at the top there was a cargo net connecting the structure you were on to about 3 other structures, so you had to crawl on the cargo net to the other structures.
10. FIRE POLE - Had to climb up a wall using divots for your hands/feet, and once at the top you had to slide down a fireman's pole. (I ran on Sunday; one person was telling us on Saturday that they had 82 broken ankles on this obstacle alone. I slid down that pole with the :to: face)
11. SLIP N SLIDE - Basically, a slip n slide on a big ass hill
12. JUNKYARD RUN - Running through, around, and over old cars and trucks
13. TIRES pt II - Running through more tires
14. FIRE JUMP - Run down a hill and then jump over 3-4 fires
15. MUD PIT - This is the final one. You basically are in a big mud pit under barbed wire and you have to wade through it to the end.

I'm probably forgetting one or two, but that's pretty much the jist of it. One thing I didn't mention was all of the running up and down hills you do. It's not so much the running, but running on mud that tires you out because you can't get good traction and get into a rhythm.
It was dope, though. Definitely doing it again next year in addition to the Spartan Race and whatever other races come along between now and then.

If you couldn't swim, you could bypass the lake. It was off the side of the path, so you could walk by it and keep it moving.

i did the warrior dash in early May and did decent (finished in 32 min.) considering the conditions (waiting in a long ass line to get into the one entrance/one exit course for 2 hours and being fukking starving and dehydrated once i started it at the hottest time of the day) but i'm interested in doing the tough mudder. my two main homies have been pushing me to do it with them for a year and a half and it comes here next year so i might do it. I hate cardio but i think i can do it cause the warrior dash wasn't too bad and i admittedly let up a little.

I might do the dirty dash in the fall though and see where I stand, but i'm gonna be bulking once summer is over so i don't know how much cardio i'm gonna be doing in preparation for it.
