Yeah like others said given how black people been stripped of their ancestry and bloodline and not knowing their roots, it is pretty cool and emotional to discover your related to someone, especially late in life.

Nas got the ill family tree, Tracy Morgan, Malcolm X, Yara Shahid

TYRONE GA!
A third cousin is barely related to you. It's nothing to get emotional about. You share a great great grandparent.

Disagree.

i'm close with my second cousins here in Atlanta since my mom and their moms are 1sts (grandmothers, their moms, are sisters). Our kids are 3rds in that situation. Can't see a point situation where our kids wouldn't be cool as well.

It just depends on if you keep up with them.

So, I take it y'all don't go to family functions. I don't even know the denominations, but if they're cousins, they're family. Especially if you grew up everyone at grandma's house, or at least all of the kids. Their kids grow up close, so their kids grow up close.

I think it's the alcohol consumption that drives brothers to get overly emotional. But then again I doubt Jungle cried.

Did Jungle cry too? Or just Nas? Jungle seems a little more like Tracy Morgan.

Pretty much if you got a large network of family, you gonna have a bunch of cousins who you have no real blood relations ((thru being close family friends, marriage or distant relatives)) too but the bond is set in stone....

We don't know the type of friendship Tracy and Nas got tho....And real talk all it takes is reflecting on mutual relatives, that one cousin, auntie or uncle who was just a special person:mjcry:....At their age especially the era they came up in, thats when you really feel it...
I swear brehs be out of touch on here sometimes :pachaha:
