i don't watch blackish to know, but whom generates the highest draw on the show.

if you are the executive in a draw based business.
it does not warrant you being paid higher than the actual draw of the production.

I'm just being honest breh. Tracee feeling herself too much because of that Golden Globe. She identifies with white women struggles hence Times Up. She working with Natalie Portman on that who's been a vocal Polanski supporter. She not that good of an actress, she got her niche which is professional woman. From my understanding Mark was willing to walk away from the project. The studio knew this and gave him the bag. If Mark walked the movie is torpedoed like it or not hes top 5 A list movie star. The chick could've walked and no one wouldve noticed

Nah they would've noticed. Michelle Williams isn't some random Z-list actress. She doesn't get asses in seats like Wahlberg but she's a name.

But fukk it, lets go with that. Let's say she's a nobody who no one cares about. If she walked away, they would've not only had to do the same exact reshoots with another established actress, they would've had to reshoot the whole thing (given that she was in scenes without Spacey as well). If she walked away, no matter which actress they went with, they still would've had to pay them more than $1,000 for her time.

It doesn't matter WHY they gave him the bag, they still massively shortchanged Williams no matter how you look at it.

Tracee Ellis' claim to fame,Girlfriends, was on UPN & went off the air 10 years ago.

Look at what AA has done since then, look at what she has done since then.
Look at what AA did before then, look at what TER did before then.

Girlfriends WAS a very popular show among Black women, that can't be disputed. If this was 1-2 years after that show went off the air, maybe she might be considered a bigger tv show draw among black female audience. In fact perhaps any of those actresses might have been.
Among Black men or mainstream audiences? I doubt it.

But like I wrote earlier in this thread ,AA is a very prolific actor who has been in a LOT of projects ..a LOT of projects. Though not a leading man or big box office draw.......people know Antony Anderson by name or face.He was the most famous and recognizable actor on Blackish when it went on network television
