Gamestop is running a promotion where if you bring in your old, working Xbox One or PS4, you will get $250 towards a new console. To sweeten the deal, from 11/6/15 to 11/8/15, they are including an extra standard controller and a free game of your choice (Black Ops III or Halo 5 anyone?). Let’s just hope the console stays in stock until then.

This is honestly a pretty good deal. I think i might do this. The more i read about the elite controller i like it.

I do like the PS4 controller also, but this elite controller seems to be taking gaming to the next level.

I traded in the 500 GB Xbox One I got off Craigslist for $80 at Gamestop for $250.

I took that $250 and bought a $250 eBay Gift Card.

I went on eBay and bought $250 in Best Buy Gift Cards with the eBay one.

I went to Best Buy and traded in Call of Duty AW, GTA V, and Metal Gear Solid V and got somewhere around $97 for them due to the 50% bonus on games this week.

I took that $350 and bought the $399 Tomb Raider 1TB Xbox One bundle it came with a $50 gift card. On Friday I'll take the console back and have then re-ring it up and get a free game. I plan to trade the free game back in and I should have almost $100 in Best Buy Gift Cards again. I'll use that to buy a couple games I was gonna buy anyway.

so for maybe $150 out of pocket after taxes I should have:
A new 1TB Xbox One
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Fallout 4
Xenoblade X

Those 3 games I was gonna buy anyway and would have cost me $150 so basically I'll get a free new Xbox One for my troubles not counting the games I traded in.

I get money too. That was for my second Xbox One. I got 2 Xbox Ones one black and one white and 2 PS4s one black and one white. I figured why set on a refurbished with no warranty when I can get a new one for money I was already gonna spend?
