I paid $500 for my first Xbox One and sold it for $250. I paid $350 for my second one that white HMCC one and still have it. My third one I paid $80 for of CL and traded it in for $250 towards my 4th. Honestly I should have just kept my first and left it at that.

It's only an upgrade if u want the elite controller and bigger hard drive space. And u can't beat that gamestop promo.

The hybrid drive may seem a little faster, but knowing its a seagate . I'm gonna switch it out for my 1tb wd blue 2.5 drive anyway.

Also, the latest Xbox ones out right now - with matte finish - are louder than previous ones. Which kind of pisses me off .

Yeah it powered on and froze up instantly. Microsoft swapped for a refurbished one because the warranty was still valid until Feb 2016. It also didn't come with a controller. I didn't want the refurb. I had to give up my original controller but the new one comes with one and I also got that Locke joint so not the PC and both Xbox Ones can have dedicated controllers.

Yeah, I would restore the console before trading it in. If your console is in good shape, they'll easily do the $250 trade in credit. Be careful, though. If you have minor scratches and such, they might try to lower the value to $200. Don't fall for that shyt. Just go to another gamestop and trade it in. These gamestops vary. Sometimes u get real cool employees who are avid gamers and understandable, to the more corporate pos a$$holes who's all about bottom line and try to nickel and dime people.

Also, if u live in a major city, chances are that those gamestops have run out of controllers to give out. If so, ask them to knock off $60 off the console, another game at value, or store credit. There are some gamestops that will tell you tough shyt - corporate a$$holes - so go to another.
