Yeah this is in no way a win for the general consumer. People are framing it like it's a positive when it's not. The lower end of the market will see some gains from this but that will come at the expense of the mid and higher end sections of the market.

Also, I find it hilarious that nobody is shytting on SONY with the NEO when all signs are pointing to THEM being the ones to effectively cut the traditional console cycle in a little over 3 years.
