It's up to the coaching staff to implement a system with ball and player movement to get players easy scoring opportunities; not just letting one player have control of everything. The players not being able to hit shots is largely down to the fact that they only touch the ball when it's time to shoot, all at irregular intervals. If they're touching the ball, and involved in actions of the offense on a regular basis, they'll be more empowered, which will naturally lead to them hitting more shots.
