What about Schroder? They can’t play them together. Backcourt would be too small
What were your thoughts on Buddy Heild?nah

He can shoot the shyt out the ball, is fast, and has a high ass IQ. Why are you comparing freshman Trae Young to junior Steph.fukk he isn't. He doesn't have much fundamentals and he is not athletic. There is a massive gap between him compared to Steph as a Junior
Because that's the level of mastery needed to be effective in the NBA without elite NBA athletic ability. He will struggle to translate to the next level. Steph mastered the SG position in college. That's why in the NBA, he is so effective when teams adjusted in his early years. Young hasn't mastered anything yet. League history tells you not to trust freshman entries who are PG's but league history tells us that they struggle the most due to fundamentals. He can shoot the shyt out the ball, is fast, and has a high ass IQ. at you Coli knee grow scouts trying to sound intelligent by regurgitating what announcers have said about Young. Stop it. The kid can play. Faced his toughest test to date and struggled some. He played like a freshman and let the moment get to him. Having said all that, he still dropped 29 on one of the best defensive teams in the nation. His biggest challenge will be getting through tough games like this in conference play.Fundamentals is extremely hot in the NBA, especially for PG's more than any other position. 99.9% of freshmen PG's lack it. Lonzo and Kidd as freshman had the most I've seen from legit NBA prospects and we see Lonzo struggling right now looking like he doesn't have enough fundamentals even being more advanced then most. PG is a position that you must do two-three years in college to be effective if you are not a freak athlete. Most are freak athletes and those tend to heavily rely on their athletic ability. Any team who takes him runs the risk of drafting a bust. I think his range and usage is what's confusing you all but note, Steph was never an usage freak, he's more of a SG who can pass and has the fundamentals to play the PG position. Young doesn't have the fundamentals, can't play SG, and is too usage based which the NBA hasn't been since the intro of zone defense. Also, Lon Kruger systems tend to hide the weaknesses of his star players too much. I seen it with Hield as well.Really breh he doesn't have much fundamentals this is what's hot in 2018 now. He's the most skilled player in college basketball and his basketball IQ is off the charts. Do you not see his handles and next level passes? And this he's not athletic thing is a myth you saw him blowing by his defenders all game he has the quickness to beat people at the next level. His teammates are ass and West Virginia pressing and doubling him every possession did them in. He had to force things at the end cuz nobody else was finishing off his passes and he still got to 29 points. I'll give you one thing though he does need to improve on his off ball movement and use more screens on the sides when he's denied the ball. But this won't be an issue at the next level cuz nobody in the NBA presses all game and just ignores the other 4 guys on defense like west Virginia did today.
No one is saying he can't play in college basketball. The NBA is a completely different story.at you Coli knee grow scouts trying to sound intelligent by regurgitating what announcers have said about Young. Stop it. The kid can play. Faced his toughest test to date and struggled some. He played like a freshman and let the moment get to him. Having said all that, he still dropped 29 on one of the best defensive teams in the nation. His biggest challenge will be getting through tough games like this in conference play.
On another note, I love Carter’s game. One of my favorite collegiate players today.
So did you have him as a star or not ?2 different players, buddy hield was a 4 year senior, wasn't a pg, but a shooter.
He's avg 13 ppg in 23 mpg so yeah
