The gay community is supposed to include everyone. And they're all in the same struggle right? :skip:

When have we ever heard the equivalent of a black Matthew Shepard story? Or black Brandon Teena?

Probably not the same but CeCe McDonald got a lot of attention and support.

It's equal... Why respect your life if you don't respect my sexual preference? Taking a males manhood deserves death.... If another man raped you, wouldn't you kill that man?

getting raped is a different issue...it was regular sex...built upon a lie of course...still....burned and thrown in the trash? shyt is wild b

I think a guy with psychotic/overreactive tendencies got tranny trapped and this was the result. Unless he was a pure psycho actively looking for a tranny just to kill them.

He was wrong for what he did as no one deserves to get killed in that fashion.

I don't think he got "trapped". He probably had a fetish that he wanted to be fulfilled and somewhere along the way he started feeling guilty or "dirty". Burning someone is something that's done on a personal level. Whether they were dating or "friends".

At the same time, when things like this happen it makes it pretty hard to believe that there are many people out there tricking anybody, knowing full well just how a person might react.

Frankly, the idea of being tricked seems like a porn fantasy. Like "Surprise, there's a dikk!"

It's widely accepted and condoned for trans-individuals to not disclose their genetic makeup, so I'm not buying the notion that the majority are laying all of it on the table from the get go. Be it this issue being born out of fear or a conviction that they are the gender they transitioned to, it's not being put out there. They assume the role of whichever gender they so desire, and if they choose to live that way, that's certainly their right, but again, it goes beyond an individual when you decide to pursue a relationship and involve another party.

I agree that once another person is involved there should be a level of openness and trust but I'm talking about that deception scenario I see described the most which is some guy taking a woman home from a bar and her taking off her clothes and revealing a dikk. It's one that probably doesn't happen as often as people like to think, mostly because it's dangerous as hell.
