Just some random thoughts on the points in this thread:
-many trans people do not 'pass' so disclosing their birth gender isn't really that big of an issue. there also aren't that many.
-trans is a gender identity issues, not sexual orientation. keep in mind that this isn't the same thing.
-we say black and gay aren't the same type of struggle but then some of us create black vs. lgbt scenarios. racism is alive and well, no matter what's between your legs or who you fukk.
-remind me to neg that cac who just joined.
-that interview says a lot the way the friends were saying he and the news was saying she. it goes to show how much it really doesn't matter.

But when some transgender white woman got jumped in Baltimore at McDonald's by some black girls, they were protesting not too long afterwards.

And the thing about the story is that the transgender woman didn't get attacked for being transgender. It was for another reason.
