There was no argument. The worker did the right thing by asking what it preferred to be called. It’s not that workers job to affirm anyone. That was fukked up to put that guy in that position.

I’ve always wondered this. Why are there so many trans women, but there are very few trans men? Why is it that a subset of men want to be women, and why is that subset larger than the subset of women wanting to be men?

women who claim not to be women claim they are non-binary most often. men like the one in op are autogynephiles where they are physically aroused at the idea of being/living as a woman. the opposite disorder rarely affects occurs with women.

i think due to the power dynamic it's easier for men to claim trans than women. u see these videos of these males claiming to be trans going crazy on people. imagine being a half naked woman in a locker room while some 6'3 260 lb man goes crazy on u for asking why he's in there. a transman will never have that level of power over men to physically intimidate them.

by claiming nonbinary instead, "nonbinary" women still have the ability to go to women's areas while claiming not to be women. they will just harass whoever is in charge about it being labeled for women rather than gender neutral.
