You have a point, but you cant deny a good flowing rapper on a trap beat.

:deadrose:

DOG, YOU JUST PROVED HIS POINT!!!!!

only time you see real spittas hoppin over these beats is if theyre looking for a quick buck or just messing around on a mixtape. unless its some acrobatic flip-styles rappers like bone thugs or something........and by the way, dj u-neek was the predecessor to this trap chit and he showed yall how its supposed to be done. word to @Art Barr.

this is one of the reasons why i say mid-80s production is the goat.

you have the clean sound, dancy feel and 808s that actually feel like 808s. and you still have soul, rhythm, groove, and technical precision. and best of all, you can rap however you want. you can drop a bunch of jibber or you can REALLY SPIT.

basically almost everything you can ask for in a beat.

Love a good bait thread. With that said I like both but the problem I have with these trap producers is none of them have their own distinct style, they all literally sound the same so they're expendable...you can't say that about a lot of the great "boom bap" producers...but whatever if that's your preference I can't b mad at it

f*ck it, how can you say that shyt ain't dope? just different variations of the trap sound....

I'm old. Fully biased toward boom bap. So I have no interest in getting involved in this debate.

but, if this garbage is a good example of "trap beats" ... miss me with it forever.

depends on what trap & what boom-bap youre listening too.

trap is cleaner & bouncier. while boom-bap feels like a brick-sized rock hitting you in the head - and i know what that feels like.

jeezy beats go hard, luger goes hard. but alot of that other chit man, those 808s be hollow as f*ck in comparison to the 808s i came up on.

yea i feel that cause KRS1
"Loves Gunna Get You" bassline is

:whew:

not all boom bap is weak and not all south music slaps but when im riden i rather slap 90s west coast music cause i get best of both worlds.clean ass 808 basslines with the deep Kick.

:win:
