Nah rap was just a hustle for Jay. Stop moving the goal posts just because you like him
If it was justva hustle, he wouldn't be one of the best ever at it.
Like I said, he has a love/respect for the craft.

Try this .... baile funk & trap
Zulu & trap
But what about everyone elseFuture still killing shyt and that's all that matters![]()
Why is he a top notch lyricist then?Nah rap was just a hustle for Jay. Stop moving the goal posts just because you like him
Exactly. I swear the shyt is like contagious. The thing that kills me about trap is that it's not pleasant on the soul. It drains the living shyt out of you when you constantly bump the tunes. There's no substance, no value, or anything. I tried bumping this new wave called "future sound", and it was just trap with a higher pitch of melody. I miss the days where r and b was strictly soothing with a bit of hard tracks far and between. Nowadays, it's either getting fukked up, sexed up, or both.

Boom bap flabby heads arethat they're music is stale and completely irrelevant
You meatballs stay mad :6FraudCamby:
I mean, more and more people are turning away from trap music. Not the same for the other way around. Only a matter of time before there is a full-blown rebel that will take advantage of people's disgusts and turn the industry around. Trap peaked in popularity in 2013 and it has been going downhill steadily since.
While this being true, the next "best" thing will be over-saturated, thus the cycle will continue. The main reason why trap is on the decline is because the sound is so limited it's not even funny. You hear one trap song, you hear them all. I'm dead serious, on my Soundcloud feed...there must have been like 50 iterations of the same fukking beat but with a different drop and tick. This was all "future sound" btw, which I feel will succeed trap due to how safe the sound is.
It's like nobody in the industry wants to take a gamble with music. Everybody wants to play it safe because money![]()
No,Isn't a clever line going to result in a quotable though?
And quotables is a part of "bars" too
shyt was never for Freds anyhow...y'all been crying bout the shyt since it's inception... it's staying power is incredible in the grand scheme of things when you really think about it...Trap or Die came out like 13 years ago..fast forward today and Mask Off is a huge hit...trap is on a historic run, put some respect on it's name nerds
Why does something have to quoted a year from now for it to be quotable?Oh ok, well name me some quoteables from Lil Uzi or Lil Yachty or whoever you like now, that ppl are gonna be repeating on message boards and twitter a year from now.
