I enjoy Boston during the summer time, including the labour parade they put together.

Downtown Boston/Beacon Hill area to see really nice architectural colonial homes with cobblestone streets.
You can also visit the Museum of African American History which is located in that area.

Boston Common and the Public Garden are beautiful this time of the year.

Back Bay for shopping and Seaport for fine dining.

There's a dispensary on Friend St near the td garden. I went there before a game a few weeks ago.

pretty much this.

luckily everything is within like 2 miles from each other. I’d add theater district if you want some night life (but tends to be on the younger side) and north end if you want to try some of the best Italian food in the country (ya I said it) in the 2nd oldest Italian neighborhood in the country.

also, Southie is filled with yuppies and young people now. Not the whitey bulger racist cacs of yesteryear. You’re more likely to get a racist frat boy there now.

going out in the back bay (older folk) and theater district you’ll have a good 50/50 mixed white black crowd.

Roxbury and Dorchester are where the Brehs and Brehettes are, sure. But take it from someone who grew up in those two sections of Boston. Ain’t a bar worth going to that’s still open.
