pretty much this.

luckily everything is within like 2 miles from each other. I’d add theater district if you want some night life (but tends to be on the younger side) and north end if you want to try some of the best Italian food in the country (ya I said it) in the 2nd oldest Italian neighborhood in the country.

also, Southie is filled with yuppies and young people now. Not the whitey bulger racist cacs of yesteryear. You’re more likely to get a racist frat boy there now.

going out in the back bay (older folk) and theater district you’ll have a good 50/50 mixed white black crowd.

Roxbury and Dorchester are where the Brehs and Brehettes are, sure. But take it from someone who grew up in those two sections of Boston. Ain’t a bar worth going to that’s still open.
Italian food is a good shout but I just spent the last couple of months living in Italy ‍♂️ Will check out southie though

Boston is an honorary Southern city and those CACs, esp. the Irish, are bout that action.

Don't sell wolf tickets there, juss walk it out.

If you want to see black people: Mattapan, Dorchester and Roxbury. PRs? Chelsea.
A new challenge awaits then

any recommendations?

my go to is neta Brookline. It’s not the most convenient to the TDGarden (Celtics arena) if that’s where you’re staying tho. But you could order online and just pickup unless you’re trying to shop.
Brookline

It is accessible by the T, so you’d get to see some of the city if you went that route.

Boston brehs do most of you have cars? How do you get around Boston?

As far as a tourist, how do you suggest getting around? I heard the traffic is crazy.

I want to go to that museum with the stolen paintings. Because of that netflix documentary. lol
