I'd be lowkey surprised if they got rid of him (even though I think he should go). The Bears are known for keeping coaches around. Case in point Dave Wannstedt and dikk Jauron.

He'll prob find another in the NFL on the offensive side of the ball

Where has he excelled as an OC?

He was a pretty good OC and QB coach back in the Nineties with San Francisco, Detroit. Oakland, and Zona.

And by good I know one season his team had the leagues best offense, He coached Gannon in his MVP/Super Bowl season and Zona's first playoff win in like 50 years.

Trestman made McCown look like a Pro Bowler. I firmly believe Trestman is a good OC. Cutler is the problem. He doesn't make good decisions.

Thats the thing..people blaming treatment for the majority have no guidance. The main issue is cutler. McCown came in and looked good. Last year Cutler and the O looked good.
But I guess the bears realize its easier to get rid of the coach financially.

Next coach will be run heavy to protect themselves from Cutler
