So Duhon and Curry would be stars in the NBA if they went somewhere else? :deadmanny:
No but they were much better than what they were able to display at Duke. Duhon and Dockery got busy in high school and Coach K turned them into passing dummies. Seth damn near led the nation in scoring and Coach K had him standing in a corner.

I don't even like Duke but these are the 3 most random collection of Duke players ever used to make a point
I used them because they were point guards. There have been plenty of big guys and forwards who were superstars coming into Duke and left barely 2nd round picks

How many HS stars need to go to Duke only to underachieve in the pros for people to throw that Coach K system to the bushes?

Yeah I know.
Bbbbut Kyrie and Grant....

But, but, but...Elton, Luol and Booz appeared in the same all-star game together.

but, but, but...Duke players have more combined salary than any other school in NBA history.

but, but, but....Duke has produced more more ROYs and all-rookie team guys in the last 25 years than any other school in NBA history.

but but but...Duke has produced more all-star players in the last 25 years than any other school in NBA history.

but but but....Duke players NEVER be on that Summer Jam screen dead ass broke 10 years after their last pro game.

but but but...Duke players DOMINATE the executive, coaching, in-studio and color analyst spaces after their playing careers are over.

Question: Why do you think Duke CONTINUES to get elite recruits in the face this lame ass tired narrative repeated by idiots like you? You think they like the uniform that much?

Hey y'all...feel free to cut and paste these FACTS the next time a dumb bytch repeats that LIE.

And while y'all busy blowing Zion Williams and Bagley and Reddish and Barrett, just know that we getting AT LEAST half of them.

Shut your dumb duke-hatin azz up.

They needed a point with Frank leaving to so this works out pretty well for them as well as him.

Midrange role players that last accumulate dollars and occasionally make ASGs.

Low quality posting.

As opposed to what? Players who don't make all-star teams and flame out early? All you can say to me is Kentucky, dogg. And that's just the last 7 years with Cal. Every other blueblood continues to produce MOSTLY what would be regarded as "bust" by the standard put on Duke year after year, so what are you saying? You think Dion Waiters could go to Duke and get drafted that high and primp and prance after every lil layup and not get shyt on? He's trash. You think Trey Lyles could be a Dukie and taken lottery and be a scrub? Nah, he'd get talked about. Thomas Robinson? Jeremy Lamb? What they doing?

The vast majority of the accolades you list were achieved by a select few players.

To the extent people point out failures, people like you just say they would have been bums no matter what. And if that's the case, then the stars would be stars no matter what. And if that's true, then it makes the whole program meaningless.

But we know it's not meaningless.
It's just you deflecting. Because you don't like to talk about Chris Duhon or Shelden Williams.

If you leave early before Coach K can Duke up your game you'll be good. Anyone who stays longer for 2 years rarely becomes a good pro. Coach K turned Chris Duhon, Seth Curry, and Sean Dockery to complete roll players. Seth is just now starting to break out of it
What did I just read :what:

EVERY SCHOOL has a "select few" players who've achieved something.

EXACTLY! But, people like you wanna pretend there's something missing in the DEVELOPMENT program at Duke. If there is, why Dahntay Jones play in the NBA for 30 years and Doron Lamb somewhere frying fish.

But we know it's not meaningless.

I'm good talking about whoever. As long as we talk about Jacques Vaugn, Sheron Collins and Julian Wright. And that's just Kansas. Don't make me start on Maryland, Indiana, Syracuse, etc.
