ill rent a cabin and go hiking around it sure, but sleeping in the woods?

You find out who you really are.

People think they're tough in a hotel, motel, cabin, RV, trailer, even sleeping in a car.

Put your back on the cold ground for a couple of nights then you find out what you're really about.

shyt that's how you know a lot of people ain't really struggled. shyt I ride my bike 16-25 miles to and from work for fun and people are like " I'd die!"

Barely anyone else out there. Whole time I was scared something was gonna jump out them trees

I got home and start googling about hiking and found myself on YouTube eventually watching videos on missing hikers. It’s a whole thing. Muthafukkas going missing every other week

I ran into some bears over the summer while hiking. I'll probably start my weekly hikes again next week

Breh just get a dog or another person and you'll be good. You should only do solo hikes in places that get regular foot traffic.

The bears were running from my dog and me. Most animals aren't there just to kill

Find your local big park (Central Park for me), hike around that....

If you're like me and don't give a shyt, go deep, but scout out the area first, do research on your location. Identify the nearest body of water and map your walk along that. Bring a phone, two knives, a gun if possible, jerky, two flashlights, lighter, walking stick, and of course always tell your loved ones where exactly you're going, don't be an idiot.

I’ll take my daughter or the lady I’m with from time to time, and hike some of these trails in Georgia. Hiked up a mountain last year in Colorado with my high school buddies. Was great being outdoors in nature like that. I grew up exploring the woods around my grandparents house. Don’t think I’d do a mountain of that size again. Realized how out of shape I was a couple miles up.
