A black man that made a song glorifying the n word and c00ning?

I hope the same shyt happens to other rappers whose primary purpose I'm the business is to make a quick buck off of drivel like this. Gtfoh

TJ will be fine. He has investments in fashion. The major label rap thing might be a wrap but he will be fine.

Makes me think...whatever happened to making money from ringtones? Did that die too because I remember when "ringtone" rap was enough of a thing to be addressed out loud. :ld:

Very few rappers were able to eat off Ringtone money...because these "primitive.contracts" they signed with these.labels didnt address royalties.from ringtones..streaming or anything considered digital..

because the Publishing that a rapper signed over basically gives the label rights to all those other streams of revenie oncluding ringtones...

leaving the artist with nothing more than an advance and some show money to play with.....

and DEF JAM is content with that...albums are a financial risk.for them

so they play it.safe with these singles and one hit wonders

:mjlol: no he doesnt...he's a hypebeast, with no money now...a lot of these brands were just ridin his wave for a bit

he was spending all his money on trying to be a sneaker head....it was so obvious on his IG...then when the money started slowing up, and he wasnt puttin up as many "you aint got these yet" kinda posts :russ:

Even if he did put in work, it's the new Internet fame age we live in where we hype up one song and then keep it moving. There's always someone else next in line with a radio hit-friendly song to turn our attention to. I wish him well but I guarantee in about a year and a half Bobby gonna be remembered for nothing but that dance. Get it while you can.

Edit: And out the whole internet fame crew of Kreyshawn, Trinidad, Bobby, etc., All Gold Everything was clearly the hugest hit. That song was everywhere. Trinidad had dudes making murals of him and shyt. I remember all the NBA players were tweeting him and c/s him. He had the crazy ass persona and look that rap loves these days too. If Trinidad couldn't make it, it looks really bleak for all these future rappers who got their rise up off internet fame.

I think his failing is a good thing honestly. To me it shows you can have that image that people look for, but if you don't have any real talent, you're not gonna stick around.
