But if Chase U got booked for Smackdown Friday, I doubt anyone would care. I do think a lot of stuff in NXT would work on the main roster, dark state for example, but overall that show isn’t booked for large audiences imo.. which is why nobody watches it

You gotta point , I didn’t watch nxt until 2019-ish when it started airing on USA,, and I remember seeing weird acts like Emma and Bo Dallas on raw and wondered how tf did nxt crowds like that shyt ..

I feel bad for the cats that dropped bread to see the War Raiders in a title match and a 20 minute Tiffany Stratton match

I mean, if you compare it to legitimate WOAT Manias like 27 and 32, it's not that bad. If the Cody/Cena match had better booking, the narrative changes significantly. Night two was better than night one, and it has one of the best matches in WrestleMania history. Night one had the main event.

The problem was that this was following up a run of three straight WrestleManias that were received well. It was supposed to expand on what was built last year and didn't. It had the potential to be better than 40 (because it should have been better) and it was decent at best.

Not that those guys are all massively over, but attempts have at least been made to help their cause. Adam Cole is I think the only one that did some time in WWE and he was featured more in NXT than main roster. I don't think they put as much effort into Gargano when he got called up vs his NXT days. That list of guys have been involved in storylines or feuds thru out their time in AEW. They just haven't done much with Gargano except for tag division stuff and nothing too memorable.

Not like matches with certain AEW talent wouldn't be appreciated but not sure how things would look based on age at this point with Styles and say Omega, Okada, etc. Especially two years from now if it ever happens. Would the match be the same from say their njpw days, prolly not. Still would be good but not as great i think.
