Cena is a part time champion and he probably has less than 10 actual matches and to use one against probably the low guy on the roster is a choice. I respect Truth staying employed so many years and keeping himself up at an advanced age but he had a really bad injury and has been wrestling on a limited basis ever since. They should use Cena to leave seeds for the future, Truth is just about done too. What’s next? Miz?

They could’ve had Damien Priest have Truth’s back and tie up that loose end and have Priest face Cena at SNME and that would make Drew even madder. If Cena-Travis vs Cody-Bad Bunny is an idea then Priest ties into that even more. It doesn’t take much at all to make it at least watchable. When I say future I mean guys that’s actually gonna be there wrestling when Cena is gone.

Older wrestlers on top that are already stars is a different discussion than the mid card being greatly populated with 40 year olds that aren’t stars or are way past cooked
