Serious question, has anyone had a good "retirement run" in WWE? The only one that comes to mind for me is Flair saying he'd retire if he lost another match. Parlaying it into a winning streak to face Shawn Michaels at Wrestlemania.

Flair comes to mind but they did set the table pretty well for Shawn Michaels to retire. Unfortunately he decided to come back in that Saudi disaster.

After watching Summerslam and Unreal, I noticed something. Especially since this wasn't shown or discussed on Unreal. But I need a documentary on Lee Fitting. This motherfukker has managed to become the second most important person in the entire company and nobody knows what the hell he does or if he even exists. Amazing!

Taker somewhat had a good retirement :ehh:

  1. Had that slept on match with Styles
  2. A full Documentary
  3. A big celebration
See here's the thing that most wrestling heads don't realized about Vince. The man always wanted to make movies, and used that passion in his booking. Thus why Flair and Taker seemed to had a good ceremony. Hell HBK had a GOATed sendoff with that Taker match.

Meanwhile Triple cancels Holidays doing CeGOAT incredibly dirty with this bullshyt retirement run.

Vince would have made the shyt meaningful, while beating it upside the head of viewers that Cena hanging it up.

Night and day booking.

Cody and HHH both touting the "We'Re NoT PoLiTiCaL... We'Re EnTeRtAiNmEnT" line. :dead:

Just straight lying in everyone's face... But it works for the Trump administration everyday, rasslin fans will fall for it, too.

shyt getting pure white by the day as well.

I have Peacock, and not because of WWE, but I'm conflicted about giving WWE the streaming view at this point. They are all the way in for Trump, just like UFC. Nazi and pedo sympathizers.

I will start watching AEW more.

Taker's retirement was whatever because he kept having one off matches every year at Wrestlemania. Just like Shawn, it was a good final match send off but nothing like a run like Cena or Flair had.

Flair's retirement run was amazing and honestly dude should had just bowed out, hop on rappers albums since rappers are Flair stans for some dumb reasons (I would have been a magnum TA bar user tops), and just settle for bump takes.

But nope, this old dingus goes to TNA and fukks up his entire legacy :scust:
