I knew that wrestling burnout was coming as soon as shyt got hot. There’s just too much of an over abundance of it. WWE themselves have 3 shows on tv every week, sometimes one on the weekend, and 2 of the 3 are on stream services. There was no real way people were gonna keep running to this shyt.. especially with the product itself going downhill and wrestling itself not really being an “urgent” watch you just NEED to see live (unlike actual sports where the market for watching AFTER it’s airs doesn’t exist)

They were never gonna realistically keep that momentum lol

What ends up happening is the people who picked it up during the hot period get bored and tune out, and the die hards like us who’ve been watching through thick and thin, still watch despite being clearly burnt out and disinterested. It gets to a point where we’re hate-watching out of routine and airing our grievances instead of just turning the channel like everyone else is doing according to them numbers lol

Nick & HHH created Wrestlepalooza??? Also them trying to rename the PLEs is a good way to further runoff longtime fans. HHH & Stephanie got their wish, too bad it's the monkey's paw kind of wish.

Straight took Heyman's work away from him and gave it to someone else :wow:
TBH, they've been soft launching it when you look at Survivor Series alone with how WarGames replace the traditional 5v5 Survivor Series match. It might not even be Survivor Series for long sadly.

Honestly, it's dumb to change the names because if it ain't broken, don't fix it.

I mean, the momentum lasted 3 whole ass years. What more do people want? :dead: there are no other examples of extended runs like that with that much content weekly.

Could’ve subbed Orton & Logan Paul for Rock & Travis Scott, Did the super stable angle with a few of the younger guys and still turned Cena babyface by/after Summerslam and had Orton/Paul/Dom/Theory/Bron/etc. take it over full time.

You're taking this Triple H won't book shyt gimmick too far with this one. In no universe is that a WM Main Event.

Everyone thought Bayley's career was over after the Alexa Bliss burial and look what happened after. If she can recover from that I have faith that Giulia can recover.
:hubie:
A wise man once told me looking for nuance on the Internet is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Simply not possible. Everyone is too obsessed with being right.

People will marry themselves to an opinion or idea, and they’ll die that hill while refusing any and all evidence that doesn’t support the said idea. You rarely ever see someone go “you know what? I got that wrong” lol

It’s kinda just the nature of this shyt I guess. How often do you see someone change their mind on anything online? It damn near never happens. Especially with wrestling.. If someone has a wrestling opinion, whether it be about how a wrestlers being booked, an entire company etc. no amount of words, evidence etc. is knocking em off that hill…

Word up lol.. that hot period was never gonna last forever. It’s impossible with a year round show that has no off period. We’re gonna be slowly coming back down to earth from here (unless another random boom happens but that’s impossible to predict)
