I feel it's just a case of people lashing out because they don't like the product anymore. 18 to 24 months ago everything was clicking for WWE and people could've cared less about very late 30s to mid 40s wrestler on the spotlight.

But when the product is stale, the first thing you look for is fresh idea and fresh(er) people on top to inject a spark. And WWE has historically been pretty adamant when it comes to doing a change of guard. Every decade you get 4 to 6 wrestlers that eventually get on top and it seems that currently, people want that process to start happening and it doesn't look like it will start anytime soon.

One of the reasons the Nexus angle got such an instant was because WWE had spent all of 08', 09' and 10' pushing the same people (with 08' being a pretty good year compared to the rest) and Nexus had 8 new faces to the WWE audience. Granted, most of them weren't ready for that opportunity and most of them were only midcard talent at best, but it was a clear sign of things to come with The Shield, The Wyatt Family and the NXT crew (Owens, Zayn, etc.) debuting and getting important roles in the 5 years after the Nexus stuff.
Nobody would care about the ages of people if the writing & stories were better

definitely agree with this

But I also think we’ve reached a point where people nitpick for the sole purpose of having an opinion. It’s just one of those things that comes with being online..

People just need to have something to discuss about a product, especially when they aren’t necessarily enjoying it. you start seeing stuff like “where is Tyler Bate? Why aren’t they using him” “Why wasn’t Rey Fenix entrance televised!?” and it gets to point where people are nitpicking at things they themselves don’t even care about, but the constant need to always have a conversation going has them online discussing Tyler fukkin Bate’s whereabouts

Like.. it gets to a point where you’ll see nikkas mad Michael Cole called a discus lariat a clothesline or some shyt and it’s like fam… why are we pretending to care about this? But that’s just the nature of this shyt, especially when people aren't happy with the product overall. Everything becomes a topic

I was about to make a thread on this, but I hate how people blame Cena for what happened to Nexus, like he pushed for Team WWE to go over and tried keeping them down. All of a sudden, people think Vince has no control over his own product and was willing to go along with whatever Cena wanted.

The ending he pitched was bullshyt and he deserves to get clowned for that, but anything that happened after SummerSlam was on Vince. I don't think he really believed in Nexus as a group and didn't see them as main eventers (except Wade, but he was always getting injured). They could have lost at SummerSlam and still kept their heat, especially with the storyline where Cena joins them. But Vince didn't care enough to protect them.

I guess WWE is staying in the US for the time being. :pachaha:

they bout to tell WWE to cut back on as much as possible for Mania 43. bout to tell them to not have any pyro or added expenses so they can ask for a refund on the money WWE didn't use. :russ:

They was spending money like crazy, it was only a matter of time

:patrice: Miss "Wimmin's Wrasslin" is always shytting on women's wrestlers or failing to ever puttin' anybody over.

(It's always "She's battling a fever" (Rhea) or a rollup pin (Lyra like three damn times))

I never hear her supporting like Bayley does or Naomi does Sasha (for example).
