Solid DVD, can't stand his character but maybe that's why he's always been fun as hell to root against. I may have my feelings about certain favorable booking decisions he's had but i'd NEVER question his work ethic, he's not as natural of a talker as an Austin/Rock nor as smooth in ring as an HBK/Eddie/he who shall not be named but he worked his ass off to improve to being a solid overall performer at one point. And nobody can question his heart and grit, the idea of not just one but 2 torn quads is

status. His heart seems in the right place, once he's done as an in ring performer I think his wrestling mind will fully be utilized
I was at that Summerslam in 99, I don't remember everything to the detail but I recall it was a semi HHH crowd with Austin being the fave obviously.
Foley winning sucked the air out of the building because it for sure felt like they were about to crown Hunter that night going into the event. Seems like there has always been "something" between those two.
-P-
I was young when this happened, but looking back at it Triple H was gaining momentum during his "My Time" phase, and putting the title on him at Summerslam seemed right. But hearing that story about how Austin wanted Foley to pin him to lose to the title and then have Foley drop it the next night had me like
As for the full documentary, I just got done watching it and it was quite good. I mean they DID leave out SOME details, like the relationship between him and Chyna and how he was fukking both Stephanie and that man-female at the same time
I mean shyt, Chyna said in that Howard Stern interview that EVERYBODY in the company knew him and Steph were fukking on the low..even Vince..but not her
But other then that the doc was cool, I am still

they had Taker break kayfabe and speak about Hunter. And he didn't do that for NOBODY, not even Rock, Austin, Foley, or even HBK. So for Taker to take some out and speak about Hunter for his documentary must mean he has A LOT of respect for him
At the end of the day, u smarks can hate him all u want, but when it's all set and done you HAVE to respect Triple H for what he did for the wrestling business regardless of his backstage politics. What he is doing now behind the scenes is whats good for the long run, especially with bringing back the tag division and repackaging superstars, and the whole NXT thing. The E is in safe hands with Triple H as the leader....
We hope
