What makes Marcus Allen a for sure fire NFL hall of famer though. Cause I didn't realize he only had 3 1000 yard seasons and they were at the beginning at that. He has longevity I know and Al screwed him during the prime of his career but going is he really a Hall of Famer going season by season?

Yeah, I was like woah when i peeped his stats.

the only guy that stands out on this list as not being that great even in his 'prime' is namath
hes really the only player to explicitly enter the hall because of one game. whether thats fine or not is up to interpretation, really
the fact remains that broadway joe has more picks than tds in 10 out of 12 games in his career :scusthov:

people will always bring up 'era' blah blah, but look at the same bob griese who played in early to mid 70s as well. grieses numbers are much better than joes

some of the choices are straight up retarded tho

oj simpson ? :dahell: dude had the first 2k season in history and has 3 single season rushing numbers in top 100 :camby:
curtis martin ? :mindblown: guy is #4 on all time rushing yards list
richard dent ? the MVP of the superbowl of one of the best defenses ever, the monster of the midway and top 10 all time in sacks ? :wtf:
warren moon ? a 9-time probowler who was 4th on career pass TDs list when he retired and 8th right now ? :dahell:

:camby:

He was Bob Gresie, who you have no qualms about.

Aikman is a HOFer. He not in the top 10 QB convo, but he deserves to be in the HOF. He was the leader on those Dallas offenses and the players will tell you that.

I've come around on Namath. If you look at his numbers in context, he was one of the best QBs in that era.

John Elway is one that's overrated, and I would contest of he hadn't rode TD to two Super Bowls/

Did I say I had no issue with Griese? I thought the discussion was about Aikman. Leader my ass.

Elway was overrated and I STILL put him in ahead of Aikman. Curious. How old are you?

Aikman was never elite level. He was always dwarfed by his contemporaries in the stats column. All that talent he played with and had meh numbers.
